GEOPARK DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Duties
Prepare grant applications to secure future funding of the Development Officer role.
* Lead in initiatives to promote UNESCO and Welsh Government sustainability objectives
* Develop collaborative projects with local businesses and partners
* Expand educational outreach and create new resources for schools
* Drive dynamic social media campaigns to engage the local community
* Enhance visitor experience through innovative geodiversity trails and information
* Build strategic partnerships locally and regionally, including with other UNESCO entities in Wales.
Requirements
* Fluent in Welsh and English (written and spoken)
* Strong communication, organisational, and presentation skills
* Knowledge of Anglesey's environment, communities, and culture
* Able to work with diverse collaborators and stakeholders
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to sustainability
* Have access to a car as travel around Anglesey and beyond is essential
* Experience with social enterprises is desirable
* Qualification in environmental sciences is welcome but not essential
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: £22,134.00 per year
