We are working on behalf of a client looking for a Creative Project Lead to join the team based in London. You will join on a full-time, 12-month FTC, with view to going permanent and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) plus excellent benefits.
Our client is one of London's most respected design studios. This studio is looking for an experienced and highly organised Creative Project Lead to join the senior leadership team. As the Creative Project Lead, you'll help drive their creative output, manage people and processes, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the studio. About the Creative Project Lead role:
Working with the CEO/Creative Director and the Client & New Business Lead, supported by a Junior Studio Manager, you will play a key part of the leadership team, overseeing project delivery, team resourcing, studio culture, and business operations.
Key responsibilities as a Creative Project Lead:
Lead the end-to-end project management process, taking full ownership of creative project management from planning through delivery.
Responsibility for managing project budgets, reviewing finances, capturing data in project management tools, overseeing payroll and expenses, identifying and addressing financial risks, and reporting to the CEO monthly and quarterly. Coordinate internal workflow, external communications, and planning.
Understanding client cultures and expectations, you will balance creative goals with practical needs and maintaining effective communication.
Oversee recruitment, team development, and performance reviews.
Collaborate with external partners in HR, IT, and finance.
Help shape the future of the studio through strong operational leadership.
Supporting in safeguarding the studio's intellectual property, supporting trademark protections, and ensuring legal compliance across projects.
Working with the Client & New Business Lead, the Studio Manager will help prepare proposals, refine project plans, develop budgets, and draft resourcing needs for new opportunities.
Skills and experience required as our Creative Project Lead:
Strong experience of project management in design or creative industries.
Effective communication skills.
Proficiency with Team Gantt, Harvest, or similar tools.
Experience managing teams, budgets, and performance reviews.
A commercially minded operator fluent in scope, budget, and resourcing.
Ability to support both creative processes and structured workflows.
Degree preferred but not essential.
