Medivet Sutton-on-Hull is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon who ideally has a Medicine bias and would be happy to carry out minimal surgeries. Sutton-on-Hull is a beautiful practice set in a grade 2 listed building, supported by a Practice Manager, Lead Vet, HRVN and a strong Nursing team. The practice has a great client base, offering an exciting opportunity for a vet looking to advance their career without building a practice from scratch. Role Accountabilities

* RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
* CertAVP in Surgery (working towards).
* Ability to perform TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, spinals, fracture repair and complex soft tissue procedures (e.g., perineal urethrostomy, TECA, BOAS, thoracotomy).
* Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
* Provide exceptional care to clients, with clear updates on patients.
* Deliver professional excellence, observing high standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance.
* Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient with clear cost estimates.
* Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising them effectively.
* Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out-of-hours or enhanced care.
* Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Your Skills and Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
* Experience in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
* Experience working effectively as part of a team.
* Clinical leadership skills.
* Experience implementing a progressive clinical culture.
* Experience supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures, understanding their contribution to clinic performance and efficiency.
* Experience using coaching and influencing to get the best out of colleagues.
