Overview
St Barnabas Church of England Primary School is looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team. Working as a member of staff within our Trust you will be a part of a team and play an active role in ensuring the learning and development of all our young people.
Responsibilities
* Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school's plans, curriculum, and schemes of work.
* Produce teaching and learning materials and resources appropriate to age and ability.
* Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge children by demonstrating good subject and curriculum knowledge.
* Reinforce the school ethos and expectations of behaviour within class and elsewhere on the school site and implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with the Trust Policy.

Additional Information
* Working hours: 0.4 FTE, 08:30 – 15:30, Thursday and Friday.
* Expected start date: as soon as possible.
* The role involves contact with children and requires an Enhanced DBS check before appointment.
* We will submit a DBS application to the relevant disclosure service when a position is accepted.
