Overview
The post holder is responsible for providing support to ensure Clinical Trial related activities within the pharmacy department are managed in accordance with relevant legislation and of high-quality. The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, members of the Trust research teams and members of the trial Sponsors teams e.g. Clinical Research Assistants (CRAs).
Responsibilities
* Administrative duties, providing support to the pharmacy clinical trials team with an increasing portfolio of work with the view to develop more pharmacy related skills, including dispensing of trial and non-trial medications.
* Organising and handling confidential and personal information.
* Working on a visual display unit for a large part of the day.
* Managing time and prioritising work effectively.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Effective communication with colleagues, Trust research teams and trial Sponsors teams (e.g. Clinical Research Assistants).
* Organisation and ability to manage confidential information.
* A desire to learn.
