We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling, stock management, and shipping/receiving operating woodworking machinery. The ideal candidate should have experience operating a machinery and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
* operating woodworking machinery (sanders)
* Load and unload trucks
* Build and prepare orders for shipment
* Pick and pack items accurately and efficiently
* Perform inventory counts and maintain stock records
* Operate warehouse management system to track and update inventory
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred
- Proficient in operating a forklift and other materials handling equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock efficiently
