Overview
In this role, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and business administrative support to the Specialist Children’s Services Neurodevelopmental Waiting List Team, aiding waiting list management across the specialist services.
Duration, Location and Working Pattern
* Full-time, fixed 23‑month term
* Base location: Templeton Business Centre
* Shift: 9 am‑5 pm
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with team leads to ensure waiting lists meet targets and keep business support processes on schedule, including communications with clinical staff, managers, parents and children & young people on the list.
* Work independently, demonstrating full understanding of the service, waiting lists and targets; liaise regularly with clinical team managers to support smooth management.
* Support clinical leads with day‑to‑day admin tasks for line‑management duties.
* Work in‑office alongside clinical leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
* Competency in a range of computer packages (e.g. ECDL) and a recognised qualification in Administration at HNC level or equivalent, or significant practical experience in data analysis.
* Good knowledge of office procedures and systems, with prior experience in a secretarial or administrative role.
