Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical systems for defence platforms and infrastructure. This role involves working on high-integrity systems in a secure, safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and wiring harnesses for defence equipment.
* Produce technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
* Support system integration, testing, and fault-finding.
* Ensure compliance with defence standards and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and software teams across projects.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or related field).
* Experience in electrical design for defence, aerospace, or industrial systems.
* Proficient in tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or Altium.
* Understanding of EMC, power distribution, and safety-critical design
* Eligible for SC / DV security clearance.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with military standards (e.g. DEF STANs, MIL-STDs).
* Experience with high-reliability or ruggedised systems.
* Knowledge of systems engineering and lifecycle processes.
