KPI Recruiting are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our client's extensive kitchen team in Nantwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef to take the next step in their career, working within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service
* Maintain food hygiene, safety standards, and portion control
* Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, including training and development
* Assist with menu planning, stock management, and minimising waste
* Take the lead in the absence of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef
* Support catering for buffets, conferences, and special events
What We're Looking For:
* Previous professional kitchen experience (educational/catering background desirable)
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures
* Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure
* A strong team player with excellent communication skills
* Enhanced DBS Check required
