Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Tutor or a Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Warrington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and a passion for teaching and inspiring secondary school students. This role involves delivering engaging, practical motor vehicle courses that equip students with the technical skills and theoretical knowledge required for a career in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality motor vehicle lessons to secondary school students, ensuring all learning objectives and curriculum standards are met.
* Provide hands‑on training in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, using industry‑standard tools and equipment.
* Assess students’ work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the motor vehicle curriculum, incorporating current industry trends and practices.
* Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
* Ensure all training activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant qualifications in motor vehicle engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
