Senior Offshore Installation Manager for a major offshore wind developer based in England.
Responsibilities
1. Analyze, recommend, and optimize offshore installation, logistics concepts, and procedures before and during installation.
2. Possess knowledge and experience of Landfall.
3. Collaborate with Package and Contract managers to tender, negotiate, and recommend installation contracts including MWS.
4. Manage offshore installation contractors and MWS, ensuring cross-discipline cooperation within the project team.
5. Review and ensure contractor’s delivery of method statements and risk assessments.
6. Establish and implement HAZID/HAZOP procedures for installation design and offshore operations.
7. Provide progress reports to Project Manager on all managed contracts, highlighting technical risks and developing contingency plans.
8. Supervise trialing, tool development, loading, and vessel setup.
9. Oversee the initiation of offshore installation campaigns.
10. Manage Client's Representatives and QA Daily Progress Reports.
11. Create, monitor, and control the execution of Design Quality reports and Quality Assurance System (QAS), aligning with supplier quality inputs.
12. Manage product Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
13. Review method statements from suppliers.
14. Review product and as-built documentation during the Acceptance Phase (AP) execution.
Requirements
1. Experienced Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) Consultant, preferably with renewable energy project experience.
