Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored 1:1 support to a student with additional needs, focusing on engagement and understanding across key subjects

Use adaptive strategies to support the student’s specific requirements related to autism and hearing impairment

Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals to monitor and support progress against EHCP targets

Candidate Requirements:

Experience supporting young people with autism and/or hearing impairments as a SEN Teaching Assistant
*
Familiarity with secondary curriculum and strategies for supporting diverse learning needs
*
Committed, resilient, and able to build strong working relationships with students and staff
*
Able to travel to and from Solihull for a full-time role starting in September
