Role Overview
As Finance Business Partner you will act as a key financial advisor to designated service areas, providing expert analysis, guidance, and support. Responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with service managers to manage budgets and achieve strategic goals
* Leading on budget setting, monitoring, and forecasting
* Driving value for money through financial insight and modelling
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
* Supporting business case development and investment decisions
This is a strategic position that combines technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will be:
* Fully or part-qualified accountants (CCAB or AAT or ACCA or CIMA or ACA) with relevant public sector experience (very desirable not essential)
* Skilled in financial planning, reporting, and analysis
* Effective communicators, able to present complex financial information clearly
* Proactive and collaborative, with a commitment to continuous improvement
Experience with financial systems and a track record of delivering high-quality financial advice are essential.
