The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Duties
* Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety.
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
* Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
* Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, including updating personal details and treatment notes.
* Maintain strict hygiene standards by sterilising instruments and disinfecting surfaces in accordance with health regulations.
* Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling enquiries.
* Ensure the clinic remains organised by stocktaking supplies and notifying management of any shortages or equipment issues.
Skills
* Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
