Are you an experienced and passionate KS1 Teacher with strong Phonics knowledge and confident in preparing children for Year 2 SATs?
Link3 Recruitment is working in partnership with a range of fantastic schools across Coventry and surrounding areas, including Independent Schools, Local Authority Primaries, Academies, and Multi-Academy Trusts, to recruit high-quality Key Stage 1 Supply Teachers.
We are seeking adaptable and skilled teachers who can create engaging learning environments and deliver targeted support across Years 1 and 2.

The Role – KS1 Supply Teacher (Year 1 & Year 2):
We are looking for Qualified Teachers (QTS required) who can deliver high-quality, creative, and structured lessons in Key Stage 1 – particularly in Phonics, Reading, and SATs preparation for Year 2. Roles include day-to-day cover, short-term contracts, and longer-term placements including Maternity and Sickness cover.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience in KS1, particularly Year 2
Be confident with Phonics screening (e.g. Letters & Sounds, Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics or similar)
Have experience preparing and supporting pupils for Year 2 SATs in Reading, Writing, SPaG and Maths
Be confident in using formative and summative assessment to inform planning and progress tracking
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a nurturing approach
Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to inclusive teaching that supports all learners, including those with EAL and SEND
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff alike

DBS Requirement:
