JOB PURPOSE
* To work effectively and flexibly to facilitate the delivery of our Social Value strategy commitments and targets through data capture, analysis and reporting across the UK businesses, aligning to our social value impact pathways.
* To be a brand ambassador upholding BrandSafway values and Health & Safety culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Focus and priorities activities (internally and externally) that reflect the ethos of BrandSafway Social Value commitments to demonstrate impact on our people, our planet, our places and our partners to drive better outcomes locally, regionally and globally.
* Be clear on a consistent message, working collaboratively with business segments / functions to ensure best practice and knowledge sharing.
* Working in partnership with teams across the business to raise awareness of the social impact commitments, supporting the reporting and data analysis requirements showcasing tangible localised impact through social value lens.
* Support business leaders, sales leads, sales support functions to facilitate the delivery of our Social Impact Strategy for the UK&I.
* Support activity to identify, gather and collate relevant data as directed, building on existing platforms and data portals around how the company works with our local communities.
* Use this data to produce dashboards and reports as needed.
* Engage with colleagues to optimise existing knowledge and insight of our Social Value strategy.
* Support the embedding of our Social Value Strategy across the business to enable teams to embed our strategic priorities, commitments and associated reporting requirements. Measured through commitment deliverables outlined in our strategy; aligned to our UK&I regional roadmap.
* Enable our competitiveness with social value as our differentiator across each business segment / function, sharing information with sales, marketing, operations and other stakeholders to support winning bid submissions and successful award submissions.
* Act as Social Value Champion.
* Engagement with local communities - Play a supporting role in scoping, planning, organising and delivering our plans and events in the community, delivering value and lasting legacy for the Tier 1 contractors we work with.
* Complete ESG and Social value PQQ sections for major clients and projects.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
* Articulate and thorough, showing attention to detail; comfortable with data analysis / manipulation and reporting.
* Results orientated / self starter.
* Effective communicator both orally and in writing, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
* Pro-active, demonstrating initiative and anticipates the needs of the stakeholders.
* Constantly raises the standard and quality of work, benchmarking against best practice.
* Highly organised, preferably with project management administrative experience.
* Proficient in all Microsoft Packages.
* Committed to further professional development.
* Knowledge of Social Value desirable but not essential – however an individual with a passion to improve environmental and societal changes is essential
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Hybrid working arrangement - 3 days office and 2 days home.
* Can be based from other UK locations.
