GSL Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Bank Staff Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of primary schools in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to build their classroom experience, maintain flexibility around other commitments, or take the first step toward a long-term career in education.
The Role:
As a Bank Staff Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils throughout the school day. You may work in different schools each day, or complete longer-term placements depending on school needs and your availability. Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to enhance their learning.
* Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons.
* Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Supporting pupils with additional needs and promoting their social and emotional development.
* Contributing to the wider life of the school community.
About You:
We are looking for individuals who are:
* Passionate about education and supporting young learners.
* Adaptable, patient, and confident in working with children of varying abilities.
* Able to build positive relationships with staff and pupils.
* Reliable and professional, with good communication skills.
* Ideally, hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, although unqualified candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
