A client within the Public Sector based in Cambridgeshire is currently recruiting for a Repairs Planner to join their Building Services Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a social housing maintenance environment. The Role The key purpose of the role is to manage, coordinate, and monitor building services appointments on a daily basis, ensuring efficient allocation of work to operatives and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Manage and coordinate daily building services appointments. • Reallocate work to operatives during periods of absence or high demand. • Prioritise jobs based on urgency and ensure all appointments are achieved on target. • Monitor performance to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction targets are met. • Ensure that works carried out by trade operatives and sub-contractors are accurately recorded and processed to deadlines. • Provide support to the Repairs Supervisor to ensure smooth day-to-day service operations. • Work on site four days a week between 9am–5pm, with some hybrid working available depending on service needs. The Candidate To be considered for this role, you will require: • Experience working within a social housing maintenance or building services environment. • Strong organisational and coordination skills. • Excellent communication and IT skills (experience with scheduling or housing management systems desirable). The below skills would be beneficial for the role: • Knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance processes. • Ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure. • Experience working within a local authority or public sector setting. The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £17.50 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £13.50 - £14.00 per hour PAYE).
