What you’ll be doing:
In this role, the successful candidate will provide hands-on support to operations in a detailed manufacturing environment, interpreting engineering data and offering guidance to operators and supervisors across multiple processes. They will be responsible for producing and maintaining engineering packs and production documentation, including plannings, Local Control Documents (LCDs), and Standard Operations (SOs), as well as completing green‑inking to enable out-of-sequence work where required. The role also involves responding to Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and concessions, supporting process investigations to identify root causes of product or process issues, and contributing to the development and implementation of effective corrective actions.
Core duties:
* Relevant Manufacturing Qualification or Experience – Possess a recognised manufacturing qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC, Higher, or Degree) or equivalent practical experience within a complex manufacturing environment.
* Manufacturing Systems Expertise – Solid understanding of manufacturing management systems, with the ability to apply them effectively to support production processes and continuous improvement.
* Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills – Strong ability to collaborate across multi-functional teams, communicate clearly, and build effective working relationships in a dynamic production setting.
* Technical and Documentation Proficiency – Capable of interpreting and working to engineering and design documentation, instructions, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.

Join the Details Manufacturing Engineering Build Line Support Team within Air Operations, a technically advanced manufacturing centre specialising in complex aerospace production. In this dynamic and interactive role, you’ll support aircraft fabrication through hot form and SPF processes, working alongside experienced engineers and contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality, reliable aircraft components. This is a varied and hands-on opportunity to develop your skills, tackle challenging engineering problems, and be part of a team that drives innovation and excellence in aerospace manufacturing.
