We work flexibly and can accommodate shifts to suit a good work-life balance About Me I am a delightful young lady who likes to go swimming, going on trips, out for walks, loves music, dancing, looking at books and jigsaws. Every Saturday I go to a gym for people with additional needs and a club for young adults with additional needs called WeCan. I communicate non-verbally using gestures, facial expressions, a VOCA (Voice Output Communication Aid), and symbols. Due to my physical disabilities, I require full support with personal care, feeding and mobility. I attend college Wednesday, Thursdays and Friday and an activity centre with care staff on Monday and Tuesday. I have 24/7 care with dedicated day shift staff who assist to have the best time with my different clubs and activities, and overnight care staff who ensure I have the enable me to have the best night’s sleep by providing proactive support at all times.
