Senior Payroll Executive

£29,000 plus bonus
Full-time, 8:30am 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Permanent Office based
Commutable from Hull, Driffield, Market Weighton, Goole, Howden and Selby
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in Beverley who are looking to hire an experienced Senior Payroll Executive who is looking to progress to Payroll Manager position. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and growing team supporting a varied and expanding client base.
Responsibilities:
* Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
* Calculating and processing holiday pay, sick pay, maternity pay, and expenses
* Managing overtime, shift pay, and salary increases
* Deducting tax and National Insurance contributions
* Managing PAYE coding notices and liaising with HMRC
* Submitting RTI returns (weekly/fortnightly/monthly)
* Completing CIS returns and P32/month-end forms
* Issuing P45s, P60s, and payslips
* Responding to client queries and providing general payroll support
* Assisting with new starter and leaver paperwork, including P45s
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a payroll position is essential
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation, PAYE, RTI, and CIS
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Confident communication skills and ability to work independently
* Experience liaising with HMRC and resolving payroll queries
