Axcis are looking for a classroom-based school support staff for a lovely primary school in the North Birmingham area which has a support staff vacancy for a teaching assistant to support a child with SEND needs within their reception class. You'll be the dedicated 1:1 for a 4-year-old child with Complex Autism, including sensory and personal care needs. Whilst being based within the reception class, there will also be lone working involved when taking the child outside of the classroom for activities in other school areas such as the sensory room and playground. This is a full-time role on an ongoing basis starting September 2026 and going through to the end of the 2025/26 academic year (July 2026). This is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant looking to make a positive direct impact on the development, learning and life of a child.
