About the Role
Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? We're looking for a dedicated Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our Resident Services team within the Housing & Environment Directorate. This is your opportunity to help shape vibrant, safe, and inclusive neighbourhoods across Ealing.
You'll be at the heart of our housing service-supporting residents across a range of tenures, managing tenancies, resolving issues, and ensuring our neighbourhoods are places people are proud to call home.
What You'll Be Doing
* Full Tenancy Management responsibility of a housing patch of aprox. 500 properties.
* Delivering high-quality, customer-focused housing services.
* Proactively managing rent arrears and supporting income recovery.
* Conducting estate inspections, home visits, and resident engagement activities.
* Supporting vulnerable residents and safeguarding where necessary.
* Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
* Leading projects and mentoring colleagues.
What We're Looking For
* A strong background in housing management and customer service.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Confidence in working independently and as part of a team.
* A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* IT proficiency (Microsoft Office).
* Experience working with diverse communities.
* Knowledge of Housing Law (Essentials).
* Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management.
* Ability to lead resident engagement and partnership initiatives
