Job Description
This position will be responsible for the management, operation and processing of Fortegra Speciality’s reinsurance programme, including ceded reinsurance treaties.
The role will operate across Specialty’s UK and EU business and will involve reinsurance treaty accounting, bordereaux validation and analysis and contract interpretation.
The role will report to the Manager, Speciality Reinsurance. The successful candidate will be joining an experienced and motivated team working across all lines of business. They must be able to build strong working relationships with MGA partners, reinsurance intermediaries, underwriters and other internal stakeholders. This is a London based role, working in the office 5 days per week.
Key Accountabilities
* Preparation of cession statements and supporting information
* Bordereaux validation and analysis
* Review and interpretation of reinsurance contracts and agreements
* Alignment with Finance team to ensure accurate financial accounting and reporting
* Alignment and engagement with underwriting team
Skills & Competencies
1. Experience of ceded reinsurance structures, programmes and processes is essential;
