Behaviour Mentor - Wythenshawe: Are you a behaviour mentor looking for your next long-term role? Prospero Teaching are currently working with a large alternative provision in the Wythenshawe area, to recruit experienced behaviour mentors to start ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils, and have a long-term impact on their lives, progress and development.
Responsibilities
* Providing 1:1 and group support to pupils with SEN/SEMH
* Building positive relationships and rapport with pupils and their families, encouraging them to engage with learning and make progress - both academically and as young people
* Collaborating with other staff members and external agencies to best support development
* Assisting with both learning and vocational activities, on and off site
Position Details
* Location: Wythenshawe
* Position: Behaviour Mentor
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £120 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Ongoing, Long-Term
Experience, Training & Qualifications
* Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
* Team Teach training is highly desired for this position
* Sports Coaching background, supporting young people in the community
Eligibility for Prospero Teaching
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
