About the Role
We have a fantastic career opportunity for a creative Senior Acoustic Engineer to join a passionate team of award‑winning professionals at Hoare Lea. Based in our London office, you will work closely with teams across the UK to deliver world‑class projects that redefine acoustical engineering.
Responsibilities
* Collaborating with project teams to develop designs on large‑scale projects.
* Leading small to medium‑sized projects from inception to completion and handover, with supervision.
* Measuring sound inside and outside buildings using the best tools available.
* Undertaking calculations and analysis using in‑house developed programmes and commercial software.
* Liaising with clients and project teams, attending meetings.
* Producing clear advice in written documents, sketches, presentations, audio demos and interactive media.
* Contributing to a culture of creativity and innovation, influencing improvements in acoustic quality.
About You
* Experience working in acoustic engineering.
* A bachelor's or master's degree related to acoustic engineering.
* A degree in another discipline will be considered if complemented by an IOA Diploma.
* Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
* A friendly, ambitious, and positive individual with a flexible and enthusiastic approach.
