We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, working closely with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH). You will work both in the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings, under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum
* Assist with the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Work closely with teaching staff to adapt materials and resources to meet individual needs
* Encourage student independence, self-esteem and inclusion in school life
* Monitor and record progress, reporting concerns to the SENCO or relevant staff
* Support students with personal care needs (if required)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school or other setting)
* A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Flexibility and a positive attitude
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
