IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to support the Strategic and Private Sector Housing Team for our client in Wigan, WN1.
Duties:
* Provide administrative support including preparing legal notices and civil penalties.
* Input and maintain case information on the Locata case management system.
* Organise correspondence, review licence applications, and support the team with admin tasks.
* Manage data across ICT systems, arrange meetings, and take minutes.
* Monitor the team inbox, triage work, and respond to enquiries about empty homes.
* Maintain high levels of customer service and support the team’s day-to-day operations.
Experience:
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with varied demands.
* A NVQ level 2 or above in either administration or Business Admin or equivalent is desirable but not essential if you have the experience.
* Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to manage technical and general admin tasks with accuracy.
* Good communication skills for drafting documents and dealing with customers.
* Motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Hours & Pay:
* Monday – Friday (Hours worked are normally between 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm, but will be confirmed at interview)
* 37 Hours Per week.
* £13.26 - £13.90 Depending on experience.
