With our continued growth comes an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Coordinator to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality across all our operations. The Role As the HSEQ Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in promoting and driving health, safety, environmental, and quality excellence across the business. Working closely with the senior leadership team and site teams, you’ll help embed best practices, ensure compliance with legislation, and foster a strong, positive safety culture throughout the organisation. Key Responsibilities · Coordinate all HSEQ processes and ensure that standards are consistently met and maintained across all sites. · Lead the day-to-day operations of the Health & Safety function. · Support the continuous improvement and implementation of HSEQ systems, policies, and procedures. · Monitor, measure, and report on HSEQ performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. · Provide HSEQ guidance and support to all levels of the workforce. · Ensure all policies, procedures, and safety standards are current and compliant with legislation. · Conduct and support investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring lessons learned are implemented. · Oversee site risk assessments, inspections, and audits in collaboration with Ubique and other stakeholders. · Contribute to the development and monitoring of HSEQ KPIs and improvement initiatives. · Promote a strong behavioural safety culture and act as a role model for best practice. Skills and Qualifications · NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential) · Relevant degree or equivalent H&S qualification (desirable) · Proven experience in a construction or related environment · Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and current industry standards · Confident communicator with the ability to engage teams at all levels · Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident producing HSEQ reports and statistics · Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities across various sites · Hands-on, proactive, and approachable working style · Full UK driving licence (essential) · Three years’ experience Benefits and Compensation £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Bonus scheme Employee assistance program via HRIS Hybrid working This is a great opportunity for a hands-on coordinator looking to contribute to the safe delivery of key projects in a fast-paced environment.
