We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team in Wrexham. Reporting directly to the Facilities and Utilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and upkeep of all site-wide manufacturing equipment and utilities systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the smooth operation and overall success of our facility, adhering strictly to cGMP and Health & Safety standards. This is a Mon-Fri, day shift position.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance work orders to ensure optimal equipment utilisation.
* Provide technical support for various equipment systems, including utilities/facilities and manufacturing equipment.
* Organise, oversee, and assist engineering service providers and suppliers on-site, ensuring compliance with method statement and risk assessment approvals.
* Complete and maintain all relevant documentation following good documentation practices (i.e. ALCOA principles), following cGMP and engineering best practice standards.
* Actively support major equipment breakdown issues, implementing corrective actions in a structured and compliant manner.
* Participate in CAPEX projects and execute equipment upgrades and modification projects to meet evolving business requirements.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
* Completed apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
* Experience in a similar role with a focus on mechanical engineering
* Experience with electrical engineering is preferred
