Welcome Manager (Band 2) - Swanage Summary We’re looking for someone with a gift for helping everyone to feel welcome and safe to join us as a Welcome Manager at Studland Bay, Purbeck helping lead our vital welcome team. Salary: 22,089.60 pro rata (FTE 27,612 per annum) Hours/ working pattern: 1560 hours per year, days of working Sunday to Wednesday. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You’ll be responsible for making sure that day-to-day operations run smoothly in the all-important welcome area as well as car parks and toilets. You’ll inspire and care for your team, encouraging them to give the highest standards of service and to help grow our charitable income. You and the team will be focused on helping everyone you meet to have their best possible day, whatever it takes and to ensure presentation standards are high. You’ll be using good judgement and decision making to lead from the front, in line with National Trust guidelines, values and policies. You'll regularly act as duty manager for the whole site, with specific responsibilities including safeguarding, cash and tills, fire, security and emergencies.
