Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: East Midlands (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full Time – Permanent

The Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate and compliant payroll services for colleagues across the UK. Working within a supportive and knowledgeable team, you will ensure payroll is processed on time and in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-end processing of monthly payroll for high volume employees.
2. Ensuring compliance with statutory and internal payroll regulations.
3. Supporting employees with payroll queries via phone and email within agreed service levels.
4. Managing starters, leavers, salary changes, and data updates.
5. Administering statutory payments, deductions, and payroll taxes.
6. Preparing and submitting electronic payments (BACS) to employees, HMRC, and third parties.
7. Completing monthly and annual payroll reporting, reconciliations, and submissions.
