In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to support the full employee lifecycle across our corporate divisions. You’ll help drive critical people initiatives, elevate engagement, and contribute to the strategic HR agenda across multiple business areas. Key Responsibilities Strategic Projects & People Initiatives Support the Senior HR Business Partner with strategic and local HR projects (e.g. restructures, TUPE, redeployments) Assist in improving HR systems, policies, and practices to stay aligned with legislation and industry best practice Employee Engagement & Culture Deliver and analyse onboarding, engagement, and exit surveys Help create communications and action plans that promote a positive, inclusive workplace Use insights to build a stronger employee experience Talent Management & Development Support succession planning and annual talent reviews, including tracking high-potential employees Assist with graduate and apprenticeship programme coordination, including data submissions and provider management Performance & Learning Coordinate the performance management cycle, including system support and training logistics Track L&D actions across functions and support delivery of leadership development programmes Employee Lifecycle Support Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring smooth and compliant transitions Ensure timely completion of lifecycle events including contracts, probation, and employee changes Employee Relations Act as first point of contact for ER queries Support case management (disciplinaries, grievances, absences) including documentation and tracking Data & Compliance Support monthly reporting and data analysis for HR metrics Ensure employee records are accurate and compliant with GDPR and internal policies Assist with compliance reporting including gender pay gap and right-to-work requirements Internal Communications & Events Draft engaging HR content for internal platforms Collaborate on wellbeing and people-focused events and campaigns (e.g. Apprenticeship Week, Mental Health Awareness) What You’ll Bring Qualifications & Memberships Degree or equivalent (preferred) CIPD Level 3 and/or Associate CIPD membership (preferred) Experience Demonstrable experience supporting HR activities in a fast-paced or multi-site environment Exposure to performance, engagement, talent and ER processes Familiarity with UK employment law, TUPE, redundancies, and restructures Confident using HR systems like PeopleHR or similar Skills & Attributes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Approachable, empathetic, and trustworthy—able to handle sensitive matters with discretion Analytical and data-savvy, with a problem-solving mindset Willing to facilitate workshops or briefings, with a proactive, can-do attitude Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment The Culture & Values of our client We are driven by three core values: Safety – We act with care and are uncompromising in our approach to wellbeing and risk.
