1. Database Administrator - IFS Ecosystem
Join Our Team as an DBA/Application Engineer! We are looking for someone who specialises in the (IFS) environment. We're seeking a proactive and skilled individual to maintain database integrity, optimize system performance, and ensure flawless software application functionality within our IFS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient performance and data integrity of the IFS system through regular maintenance tasks. Additionally, you'll coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications such as Cedar Bay and Crystal Reports within the IFS environment. Your duties will also include managing and supervising the IFS middleware environment to ensure smooth data flow.
Collaboration is key in this position. You'll work closely with various teams to Identify and resolve database and application issues, fostering a logical approach to problem-solving. Furthermore, you'll be tasked with implementing robust security measures to safeguard database and application integrity.
Your role extends beyond maintenance and security; you'll also play a pivotal role in optimizing system performance. This involves monitoring system performance, providing recommendations for improvement, and driving agreed enhancements. Additionally, staying updated on industry standard processes and emerging technologies relevant to IFS database and application management will be an integral part of your responsibilities.
