We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver a high-quality, proactive HR service within a fast-paced Further Education environment. This is a hands-on role supporting leaders across the College on everything from complex employee relations to organisational change, while helping shape a positive, inclusive culture.
What You'll Be Doing
Partnering with managers across the full employee lifecycle
Leading on complex ER casework (disciplinary, grievance, absence, redundancy)
Coaching and influencing leaders to drive best-practice people management
Supporting restructures, consultations and organisational change
Using HR data to inform decisions and mitigate risk
Embedding compliant, practical HR policies aligned to UK employment law
Building trusted relationships with stakeholders and Trade Unions
What We're Looking For
CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent partnering experience)
Strong HR advisory/ER background in a complex organisation
Confident communicator who can challenge and influence at all levels
Experience using HR systems (iTrent desirable)
Highly organised, solutions-focused and commercially aware
Education/FE sector experience a bonus – not essential
Rate - £24 - £26 p/h
