We’re\nlooking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to support the\nday-to-day running of the nursery, lead and inspire the team, and help ensure\nthe highest standards of care, learning, and compliance. You’ll work closely\nwith the Nursery Manager to create a positive environment for children,\nfamilies, and staff.
This is a\nfull-time role, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key\nResponsibilities:
· Ensure the safety and wellbeing of\nevery child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.· Understand and ensure that the\nrequirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the\nnursery.· Assist in managing the acceptance and\nadministration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date\nfor children or staff with health conditions.· Ensure that all children receive\nstimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that are\nappropriate to their age and stage of development.· Promote respect and credibility for\nthis position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and\nconsistency.· Inspire staff team with creative\nideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.· Undertake any other duties to ensure\nthe smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff,\nand families.

Requirements:
· Full and relevant Level 3 in\nChildcare qualification - Essential· Over 1 years’ experience of working\nin Early Years - Essential· Sound knowledge of the statutory\nframework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential· Over 1 years’ experience of working\nin a management position - Desirable.· Level 5 qualification in Childcare\nand/or Management and Leadership - Desirable· Experience of successfully passing an\nOfsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable.
