Tripartite Reviewer (Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship)
This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you experienced in supporting apprentices and/or students who are learning while working? Do you have communication and administration skills and the ability to manage your own workload? Would you like to work with learners and their sponsoring employers to enhance personal and professional development, monitor progression, and set goals?
The Lifelong Learning Centre (LLC) at the University of Leeds aims to widen participation, especially among mature learners. The Centre offers the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) for management professionals across various settings.
Your responsibilities will include arranging and conducting tripartite reviews with individual apprentices and their mentors/sponsoring employers. An integral part of the programme is the integration of academic and professional learning, supporting participants in acquiring skills for success in higher education. You should have relevant experience working with apprentices and/or students, and a proven record of working with learners from diverse backgrounds. The role involves arranging online meetings and completing paperwork promptly. Apprentices are taught through block delivery, with guidance on portfolios provided during on-campus sessions in teaching blocks and between them.
Please note that, due to Home Office visa requirements, this role may only be suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants if they are eligible for salary concessions. For more information, please visit: www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa
