Job Description:
Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons across the DT curriculum, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Graphics
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating workshop environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills
Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform planning
Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum and participate in cross-curricular projects
Support students in GCSE coursework and extra-curricular clubs
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
Be a passionate subject specialist with strong knowledge of health and safety, CAD/CAM, and modern manufacturing techniques
Demonstrate excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills
Be committed to inclusive education, student wellbeing, and safeguarding
Be enthusiastic about continuous professional development and team collaboration
