HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Current Opportunity: ER Advisor - HR
Location: Fort Dunlop with Travel to sites across the project
The ER Advisor will provide comprehensive support to the ER Team and guidance to operational line managers. Leading on low level case management and first line response to queries from Balfour Beatty Vinci Employees and Line Managers. They will work closely with People Services and HR colleagues to ensure the effective administration and recording of ER processes. They will have a proactive approach to advice and guidance and will support with the organisation of the ER function.
Experience required
* Strong organisational, planning and time‑management abilities with excellent communication skills across multiple formats.
* High attention to detail, especially in written work.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision; proactive and capable of using own initiative.
* IT proficient, with strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel).
* Maintains confidentiality and integrity in line with GDPR.
* CIPD qualified or currently studying with previous experience in an HR or employee relations (ER) environment.
* Positive, proactive approach to customer service with a focus on meeting customer needs.
* Understanding of the role ER plays within a business.
* Experience working in a support function within a high‑demand environment.
