Business Development & Compliance Manager The Role This is a broad and hands-on position, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility. You will be responsible for managing compliance, accreditations, health & safety, and supporting business development activities including tenders and internal processes. ️ Key Responsibilities * Maintain and manage key accreditations (CHAS, SafeContractor, NICEIC, Constructionline) * Oversee all Health & Safety processes – RAMS, COSHH, fire risk, inspections, training * Identify and support new business opportunities through PQQs and tender submissions * Drive compliance with internal policies and industry regulations * Lead on environmental and social value targets (TOMs framework) * Provide professional support and advice to the Managing Director * Collaborate with managers to improve internal systems and documentation ✅ What We are Looking For * Experience in compliance, H&S, or operations within the construction sector * Strong working knowledge of relevant regulations (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent preferred) * Proven experience with accreditations and/or tender submissions * Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in driving improvements * A confident communicator who enjoys working across a small, close-knit team Why Join? * Permanent role with a stable, growing business * Real opportunity to make the role your own * Full support and structured handover from the outgoing manager * Work alongside a supportive and values-led leadership team * Be part of a company that takes pride in doing things right Interested?
