Location: Gloucester (Stonehouse)
Salary and Schedule
* Salary: £45-50k
* Hours: Earlies/Lates (6am-2pm Week 1, 2-10pm Week 2, Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities
* Support site functions, including maintaining and repairing all site machinery and services.
* Improve equipment reliability and implement planned preventive maintenance.
* Support Production Team Leaders and Operators to improve performance.
* Analyse OEE data to take corrective actions to improve plant reliability.
* Develop and maintain an integrated Production operation to meet health, safety and quality engineering standards.
* Optimise line performance to meet and exceed KPIs in equipment reliability and efficiency.
* Carry out planned maintenance activities and identify improvements based on observations and history.
* Analyse line performance data and take action to improve performance.
* Participate in and lead continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
* Develop systems to ensure correct operation of equipment and facilities and improve processes (e.g., changeovers, reaction plans).
* Own part of the reliability program to improve the performance of allocated machines.
* Capture information on plant performance and maintenance to drive a predictive maintenance approach.
* Conduct safety, quality, and GMP inspections/audits and implement appropriate actions.
* Coach team members in asset care and condition monitoring tasks.

Knowledge and Experience
* Experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment (food production).
* Experience is essential.
* Must be qualified to HNC or City and Guilds Part 3 skilled discipline, or time-served apprenticeship.
* Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.
* IOSH Health and Safety would be advantageous but candidates must demonstrate sound health and safety knowledge.
