I’m a fun-loving, sociable 23-year-old young woman looking for a PA who can support me to live my best life – both at home and when I’m out in the community. I love being on the go! You’ll often find me heading to the cinema, theatre, or musicals, or out for a swim. I enjoy visiting new places, going for walks, and stopping at cafés for a hot chocolate. I also love to travel locally by car, bus, or train. When I’m at home, I enjoy listening to music (and sometimes having a dance!), doing jigsaws, arts and crafts, watching TV, and helping out with cooking. I have a learning disability, so I need someone who can support me to stay safe, help me with communication when needed, and offer calm and patient guidance – especially when I’m finding things a little tricky. I need help with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, preparing meals, and light household chores like cooking or putting a wash on. Up to 18 hour per week at £13.50 per hour. Ideally to include one overnight at the P.As home, sometimes at Charlotte’s home at a rate of £41.50 per night preferably on a Friday or Saturday night. I’m looking for someone caring, understanding, and patient – someone who enjoys having fun, being active, and sharing laughter. You’ll need to be comfortable supporting me both at home and out in the community, and ideally, you’ll have experience supporting people with learning disabilities or behavioural needs. You will be required to help me to regulate my emotions and maintain a calm environment. I have complex health issues and occasional vomiting if anxious during overnights. There may also be opportunities to join me on short breaks or holidays, so a sense of adventure is definitely a plus! I live with my mum, dad, sister, and my lovely dog, so being comfortable around families and pets is important.
