Roles and Responsibilities
The Resident Home (Grant House) is a residential care service for older adults. The Social Care Worker will:
* Support individuals with the full range of daily living activities, day‑to‑day personal care and welfare of the residents.
* Carry out Key‑Worker responsibilities and act as shift lead responsible for health and safety of residents and the building.
* Administer prescribed medication, complete audits and devise care plans.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working in a care setting.
* Demonstrate good team working, leadership and communication skills.
* Be able to demonstrate awareness of the complex physical, mental and emotional needs of older adults and respond in an enabling way.
* Be able to work shifts on a rotational basis.
* Possess SVQ3 (desirable) – training will be provided if needed.
