Assembly Technician Edinburgh £12.30ph 7am- 3pm Monday - Thursday 7am - Mid-day Friday - 40 hrs (static days) (plus some weekends overtime) Ongoing work (22 weeks) GI pro are recruiting for Assembly Technicians for our Edinburgh based client Working days with overtime available, paying £12.30ph This is a contract for up to 6 months You will enjoy good working conditions and regular hours The client - Electrical Manufacturer The role * Assemble / modify and test electrical or electronic products and equipment from (computers, test equipment telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries and sophisticated radio communication equipment). * Working from technical drawings * Soldering, wiring, and working with Torque tools, power tools, machinery * Test completed assemblies for correct operation. * Identify and replace defective assembly components. * Input data onto the CRM * Will be heavy lifting involved up to 20 kilos * Working in different departments as needed The candidate * You will have experience in electrical assembly / modify electrical or electronic equipment, such as computers, test equipment telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries. * Must be able to Solder and use Torque tools * Able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours * Light Computer skills and ability to read/enter data as required * Need steel toe capped shoes Apply: If you feel that you have the skills / desire for this role, please click Apply.
