The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, youll play a vital role in ensuring continuity for students in cases of Teacher absence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task
Provide assistance to students with set activities and respond to their questions
Maintain classroom order and manage student behaviour effectively
Support teachers with lesson planning, record:keeping, and resource preparation
Promote inclusivity and encourage student engagement in the classroom
Assist with pastoral duties, helping students navigate challenges and succeed
