Responsibilities
* Support individuals with complex autism, following detailed care and support plans.
* Work as part of an established team and communicate effectively with someone who does not use verbal speech.
* Spend the shift with the person you support, building trusting relationships and enabling them to live the life they choose.
* Adapt approach to provide innovative, person-centred support to help the individual achieve their goals.
* Be flexible, committed and dedicated to supporting the person as part of a customer-led model.
* Drive is required for applicants due to location and role requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle.
* Experience in supporting adults with Autism or willingness to learn and adapt.
* Ability to follow care plans, problem-solve, self-reflect and work with colleagues to adjust support as needed.
