NHS Lothian is excited to be recruiting to an Emergency Nurse Practitioner/Trainee Emergency based at Astley Ainslie Hospital. For Trainees Covered By Annex 21, pay will be as follows and is pro-rated for part-time roles. Responsibilities
* Lead as an inspirational and patient-centered nurse in a team environment within NHS Lothian’s Emergency Service.
* Support clinical education with the Clinical Education and Training team, education co-ordinators, robust induction programmes and preceptorship; collaborate to build leadership strengths.
* Participate in a Values And Competency-based Recruitment Process linked to the Strategic Plan and contribute to delivering high-quality, compassionate, safe and effective care.
Salary, terms and eligibility
* For Trainees Covered By Annex 21: pay will be as follows, pro-rated for part-time posts.
* up to 12 months prior to completion of training: 75 per cent of the pay band maximum of the fully qualified rate.
* more than one but less than two years prior to completion of training: 70 per cent of the pay band maximum.
* more than two but less than three years prior to completion of training: 65 per cent of the pay band maximum.
* more than three years from completion of training: 60 per cent of the pay band maximum of the fully qualified rate.
Additional information
* For part-time posts, the salary will be pro-rata.
* This post requires PVG Scheme membership/Disclosure Scotland clearance as appropriate; information on changes to requirements will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.
