The Role As our HR Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of our people function, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues on a wide range of HR and employee relations matters. You’ll take the lead on complex casework including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and sickness absence, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally sound approach. You’ll support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, wellbeing, and organisational culture. You will also pay a key role in delivering manager training and contributing to people projects within the company along with a group perspective. This is a hands-on role that offers broad exposure across the business — ideal for someone looking to build on a strong ER foundation while stepping into a more strategic and developmental space. What You’ll Need Significant experience of dealing with people issues including disciplinary and grievance, TUPE and capability. Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Legislation and HR Best Practice along with the ability to put this into practice. Excellent verbal / written communication skills and active listening skills. Strong stakeholder management skills Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across the business. Strong attention to detail. A good ability to multitask and prioritise workload. High level of trust and integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. A genuine values champion who will demonstrate the behaviours that underpin our values. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. CIPD qualification, or equivalent experience.
