Job Purpose
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations Assistant to support our dynamic Wastewater team. This varied role plays a key part in keeping things running smoothly on site.
You'll work closely with the Management Team to coordinate essential activities—everything from arranging and tracking training to booking courses, managing accommodation, and keeping accurate compliance records.
You'll also help maintain a safe working environment by supporting site inspections and ensuring we meet all Health & Safety requirements. Additionally, you'll take the lead in managing processes for company vehicles, including MOT tracking and legal documentation.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Acting as the training coordinator for your area, liaising between the training department and employees to ensure training attendance.
* Notifying staff of upcoming training, completing booking forms, and being the main contact for any issues on the day (e.g., absence, travel queries).
* Leading Health & Safety administration for the site, ensuring all statutory record-keeping obligations are met.
* Supporting financial processes, including journals, accruals, and collating capital timesheets.
* Organising meetings and briefings: booking rooms, sending invites, chasing responses, preparing handovers.
* Raising purchase orders as requested by managers and supporting field staff with procurement needs.
