They are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in London Role Overview: The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for commercial and pharmaceutical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Based on site, the successful candidate will collaborate with project managers, MEP teams, and clients to deliver innovative and reliable electrical solutions for multi-million-pound schemes. Key Responsibilities: Review the design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, BMS (Building Management Systems), and process-critical systems for pharmaceutical facilities. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., BS 7671, GMP, ISO 9001) and client requirements for commercial and pharmaceutical projects. Conduct technical reviews of electrical designs, specifications, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and optimization for project delivery. Manage subcontractors and coordinate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical installations, ensuring performance meets project specifications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to address technical queries and deliver value-engineered solutions. Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 7 years experience in electrical engineering, Proven track record of delivering electrical systems for high-value projects In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including HV/LV distribution, cleanroom requirements, and pharmaceutical process systems. Strong understanding of UK regulations and quality standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Degree in Electrical Engineering Professional accreditation (e.g., CEng, IET, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
